NEW! Daryl Dixon Trailer Lands

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon

The trailer is here folks, and it looks pretty cool. If you’re a fan of Daryl Dixon, you’re certainly going to want to watch this. I’m not too sure when the show drops here in the UK, but is scheduled to premiere on September 10, 2023 in the US. It will consist of six episodes. Last month they announced that the series had been renewed for a second season. So it looks like all you Daryl fans are going to get two seasons minimum out of the show.

Daryl in Paris

As you can see from the trailer, Daryl is now in Paris. How he got there I don’t know, but I’m very keen to find out, as I’m sure you are too. The character has come a long way from the hot-headed red-neck that we met in the first season of The Walking Dead. He has grown in the new world, and whilst never really finding his place, he is ironically perfect for a post apocalyptic world like this. I know who I’d make friends with him as soon as I could; Daryl would certainly make for interesting company, and he’s certainly a survivor.

Will Daryl Find Rick Grimes?

This is yet to be discovered, but personally I feel that this is as inevitable as Rick meeting up again with Michone and his children. AMC are kind of obligated to do this for the fans, and there would be some massive disappointment if he doesn’t eventually find Rick; or at least verify his existence. It appears as though the old Walking Dead characters are being left with open-ended storylines so far, so the possibilities of meeting again are high. Some of you will be aware of Morgan Jones’ intention to go back east to find his friend Rick Grimes, at the end of the first part of the Fear the Walking Dead Season 8. Who knows? Maybe they will all find each other again!

What About Carol?

It’s unlikely that Daryl will reunite with his old friend Carol, at least in Season One of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. But maybe they have plans for him to make his way back to America and settle in Alexandria. Whilst it would be very nice, the writers need to have a certain amount of tragedy in their scripts don’t they? Although I’m not quite ready to see Daryl’s demise, or Carol’s for that matter!
